Game of Thrones" earned the most nominations when the 2014 Emmy nominees
were announced Thursday morning. The HBO show received 19 nominations,
including one in the coveted drama series category. The other drama
series nominees were "Breaking Bad," "Downton Abbey," "House of Cards,"
"Mad Men" and "True Detective."

In the comedy
series front, four-time winner "Modern Family" was nominated along with
"The Big Bang Theory," "Louie," "Orange Is the New Black," "Silicon
Valley" and "Veep."
FX programs "Fargo" and "American Horror
Story: Coven" were also among the top nominated shows, earning 18 and 17
nods respectively.
The 66th Primetime Emmy Awards will be held on Aug. 25 at Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles. Seth Myers will host the telecast.
