WHY DO U COMPLAIN?
We all complain about some things in our life. I guess it is normal to
state a problem once or twice. But there are things that we constantly complain about and can be depressing you and the people around you. It may be about the never-ending bills, the constant clutter in the house, the noisy neighbors; there is always something we constantly bicker about.
Most of the time we complain too that our efforts are not being rewarded or appreciated. We all wish for a certain change around us to make our life a little easier. But did you know that life could be a lot easier if you stop complaining?
Acceptance
For one thing, we should know that we couldn’t change the people around us. They are who they are. You’ve heard the old saying “Bad habits die hard” and “You can’t teach an old dog new tricks.” These are all true. We can never force anyone to follow our ways. Even God doesn’t control our choices. It is one of our many privileges in life. Free will gives us the freedom to choose our actions. So no matter how much you complain or push
others to do things your way, it simply will not happen exactly the way you want it. One thing you can change is the way you look at things. Accept everyone around you as who and what he or she is. Take the good and the bad in every situation as part of life. The less you expect from others, the less disappointments you will have. There is no point in complaining because no one will listen or do anything about it. Just do what you have to do and things will fall into place, as they should.
Stay Positive
When you see a problem, think of it as a challenge. Don’t go blurting out complaints right away. Instead, focus on the solution. Keep positive that you can solve the problem. Graciously ask for help too if you need it. This is better than scolding the people around you and forcing them to work, right? There is always a better way of doing things. Just keep calm.Stay positive and remember to be nice to yourself and others as well.
Learn to Laugh
When things are a mess, getting angry and blabbering about it will not make things any easier nor will it solve the problem. See the humor in the situation and learn to laugh at life’s little ironies. As soon as you calm down after a good laugh, you can start looking for a solution to the messyou are facing.
The Silver Lining
It may sound cliché to say there is a silver lining behind every cloud,
but as long as you believe things will get better, they will. Life has its
way of balancing itself. If you are having troubles now, look forward to the days ahead where things will not be so hard. Of course success always requires hard work from you. Don’t just sit and wait. Keep doing your best to make things better. It may take a few failures and problems but the key is to never give up. You will succeed if you just keep trying. We all have our fill of hardships in life. Carry your cross and you will be rewarded. But if you complain then you are already pain in full.
Does this speak to you ?
Looking at the picture above, do you have any reason to complain?
