MEET NOLLYWOOD ACTOR WHO FIGHTS AGAINST BUILDING COLLAPSE IN NIGERIA
HERTZ ODIRA is a Nollywood actor turned Civil/Structural Engineer, a compere, show host and a certified project manager. Born on the 2nd of January 1982 at the Joint Hospital Achi in Oji-River Local Go vernment Area, he attended his primary Education at Central School I Oji-River, Enugu State.
His secondary education at Metropolitan College Onitsha, Anambra State and his higher education at the Institute of Management and Technology (IMT) Enugu where he obtained a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Civil (Structural) Engineering in 2010.
Completed his National Youth Service in July 2012 at the Central Bank of Nigeria Benin Branch where he worked under the senior project/facility manager. Between 2001 and 2013, he has appeared in over 35 Nollywood movies - two of which are expected in the market early this year 2014.
HERTZ ODIRA have worked as a project manager in major construction works which includes the construction of 25,000 metric tones storage facility in Igbariam Anambra State with East equip and company limited, the construction of a retaining wall at Banana Island-Ikoyi Lagos State with urban finish concept, two numbers of five story residential blocks of flats in Onitsha Anambra State among host of others. He has done a lot of approved building drawing which are built and existing, an expert in Computer Aided Design (CAD) usage.
He is a major show host/compere for the student union Government in campuses around Enugu and the compere of “personal revolution” – a human resource programme for Nigerian youths hosted by Ifeanyi Onuoha in Enugu, Nigeria.
HERTZ ODIRA is your favourite kid actor on most soap opera aired then in Minaj Systems Television. He is presently a post-graduate Civil Engineering student at Nnamdi Azikwe University, Awka-Anambra State, Nigeria. With his media experiences and as a trained Civil Engineer with visible experiences, HERTZ ODIRA have passionately founded “The Engineers in Society” T.V. show – first of its kind in history to keep people aware of his profession and to save lives by reducing building collapse to a bearest minimum.
